Hi!
I'm John Rowse, an 'Uhakika' missionary. And, yes, my hair’s all out of place. In fact, there's a lot about me that's out of place - way out of place, although I didn’t start to see it till God put me in my place. But Jesus let it all that be placed on him; now the Court of heaven looks at me through him, and says, “Everything’s in place!” Jesus saw to that - he put all that in place - when he took my place. Now I've been freely placed in my Father's house, to stay forever in his place. God's Spirit now lives in my place, getting me to put things in their place, but while that's still taking place, the Court already says, "Everything's in place!" Kay and I are reformed, evangelical Christians. Besides serving as an Anglican pastor mainly in Melbourne, I have worked for most of our married life in Christian education in East Africa, and with a wide range of churches, especially through Scripture Union until we set up The Uhakika Christian Education Trust Fund. We have four children and four grandchildren. These days we are based in Australia, and I spend around half of each year in Africa. For part of my time there, I work with police on a community-education initiative to combat witchcraft-related murders. For more, click 'Download File': |
Moses Makanta is a local pastor and an 'Uhakika' Missionary in northern Zambia. He and his wife, Gertrude, know what it is to be judged clean forever in God's court, and they're both passionate about telling others this news. One day Gertrude was out with another pastor's wife, doing evangelism. When Gertrude explained the gospel to someone, the other evangelist came to Christ.
